Deer Eat Birds - Freely Eroding: Album Release Show

About a year ago, we got together and started writing what now is Freely Eroding. With each possibility was an avenue of sound, ever changing in thought. Piece by piece, these eight songs developed through us pushing ourselves in various means to see that each possibility was fully explored. We are excited to share and release this album with you all!
—Deer Eat Birds--

We are playing with these killer bands:

XK Scenario (NOVA/DC)
XK Scenario's music can be described as Prog-Hop: progressive rock and hip-hop put together. Since 2015, the band has been introducing a style of music and storytelling not yet heard by the public's ears, in addition to an intense new level of showmanship.
The band has been seen at numerous venues and DIY spaces around the DMV area and embarked on an east coast tour in the summer of 2017.
XK Scenario is currently signed to the independently based label, VoidLife Records. The single “Dog King” was released in March of 2017. A debut full-length album is currently in the works.

Suneater (RVA)

Long ago, a powerful force rose from the darkest reaches of the desert wasteland planet, Üstéril. Thus The Suneater Clan, children of Ghoulah, Grazer of Galaxies, came into power, conquering any and all in their way with aural abominations screeching forth from their souls. Now they've come to planet Earth to continue their quest and total domination of ur mom.

~Ghouler, Mighty Suneater, child of Ghoulah, Grazer of Galaxies.

Deer Eat Birds (RVA)

Founded in spring 2016, Deer Eat Birds has been bringing their unique sound, influenced by their chaotic and eclectic tastes, to the people of Richmond and its surrounding towns. Incorporating dynamic guitar interplay by MIkiyas Negussie and Stephen Wolford, driven yet melodious bass lines with smooth pacifying vocals by Tecumseh Allen, and explosive grooves by Damon Bishop, the result of which is an elusive spectrum of sounds ranging from the early stages of The Mars Volta and Tera melos to Hiatus Kaiyote and Xenia Rubinos
